Her current program of research is focused on the neuroendocrinology of the menstrual cycle, PMS, and menopause with the aim of clarifying the factors associated with women's reproductive health. A member of the Institute of Medicine, Dr. Reame is an active women's health advocate, serving on the advisory committee to the NIH Women's Health Initiative, and as advisor to the Boston Women's Health Book Collective. She is currently a member of the Board of Trustees for the North American Menopause Society and is certified as a menopause clinician.
