Anna Brew Carlson, Student, Family Nurse Practitioner

Anna Brew Carlson has a bachelor's degree in English from Davidson College, where she was captain of the cross country and track and field teams and leader of Sanctuary, an ecumenical organization focusing on social justice advocacy. After college, she worked as a high school English teacher, then as an account executive at a social media marketing firm, where she co-founded a pro bono consulting group that served non-profit organizations. She has served as a mentor for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training program and as an emergency room volunteer at St. Vincent's Hospital. She plans to become a family nurse practitioner.
