Highlights include the following:
- Dr. Kristine Gebbie's plenary panel on “Translating Research to Policy” was very well received and inspirational to the audience.
- A dissemination grant submitted by CUSON (PI: Dr. Elaine Larson) was funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) that will allow selected proceedings from the ENRS conference to be published in a special supplement of ENRS.
- Diane Pastor, a second year doctoral student, won ENRS' “Best Doctoral Student Presentation Award” for her pilot work, “Community Health Nursing Telemonitoring in Frail Elders with Congestive Heart Failure.” This is the first time someone from Columbia University School of Nursing has had this honor and it is a very competitive and prestigious award.
