Columbia University School of Nursing Alumni Association

I Am A Columbia Nurse: Julie Schnur '03 '05 '13

With an active alumni body of more than 12,000 graduates. Columbia Nursing alumni hold leadership positions in hospitals, academia, federal agencies, professional organizations and associations, and state and local government.

Members show their support for their alma mater by participating in events, donating their time and expertise as mentors to students, serving on Alumni Association committees and contributing financial support for student scholarships and other needed school initiatives. Led by a Board of Directors & Officers, the mission of the Alumni Association is to support Columbia Nursing and its alumni, to further alumni involvement with the school, and foster fellowship among alumni. All alumni are members of the Alumni Association. The Alumni Association is governed by By-Laws.

Each year, the Alumni Association hosts Alumni Reunion and other events, where alumni network with fellow nurse leaders, reconnect with former classmates, and meet current students and professors.

The Alumni Association works with the Office of Development & Alumni Relations to support the school through the Annual Fund.
