Sally Aboelela received a CUMC Educator Development Certificate from Columbia University Irving Medical Center and the Center for Teaching and Learning on July 1, 2025.
Veronica Barcelona completed her three-year fellowship in the Betty Irene Moore Nurse Fellowship for Leaders and Innovators. During this program, she completed a project using machine learning to identify stigmatizing language in the electronic health records of birthing people.
Ashley Graham-Perel was featured in the documentary Everybody’s Work: Healing What Hurts Us All, by SHIFT Films, and served as a post-screening panelist at the 2025 Diversity Impact Conference, held virtually, on July 24, 2025.
