Elaine Larson, PhD, professor of pharmaceutical and therapeutic research (Nursing) and epidemiology (Mailman), has been awarded a one-year, $45,000 grant by the 3M Corporation to investigate and evaluate the effectiveness of a new rapid detection influenza test. This prospective clinical study is part of the CDC's ongoing STUFFY (Stopping Upper Respiratory Infections and Flu in the Family) trial.
