School of Nursing Alumna, Hussein Tahan, DNSc, RN has been appointed to the position of Director, Nursing Education and Research at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Hussein obtained his Doctor of Nursing Science degree from Columbia in 2003 and is a nurse leader with 24 years experience in nursing and hospital operations, Joint Commission accreditation, quality performance and management, project management and domestic and international healthcare consulting.
