Research

Lauren Gerchow, PhD, is a postdoctoral research fellow on the RHeaDI T32 at Columbia University School of Nursing. She earned her PhD in 2024 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing from 2024 to 2025 investigating nurse's experiences providing care to patients with limited English proficiency. Her program of research focuses on sexual and reproductive health, with an emphasis on improving care and outcomes for adolescents. With over 10 years of experience as community health nurse, she applies practice-informed approaches to advance patient-centered informatics interventions.
