Lusine Poghosyan, PhD, Stone Foundation and Elise D. Fish Professor of Nursing and Professor of Health Policy and Management, has received the 2024 Friends of the National Institute of Nursing Research (FNINR) Welch/Woerner Path-Paver Award.
Poghosyan accepted the award, given in recognition of her breakthroughs in health services research, on October 30, 2024, during the 31st Annual FNINR NightinGala in Washington, D.C.
The award is given to mid-to-late career nurse scientists who have achieved one or more breakthroughs in theory development, research methods, instruments, or subject matter that have paved the way for other scientists, and who have influenced and mentored the next generation of nurse researchers, FNINR noted in its November 1, 2024, announcement.
