Aboelela Awarded Educator Certificate

Assistant Professor Sally Aboelela, PhD, has received a Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) Educator Development Certificate (CEDC). 

Aboelela directs Columbia Nursing’s Online Prerequisites for Entry to Nursing (OPEN) program.  

Offered in collaboration with the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons (VP&S) Office of Medical Education, the CUIMC Office of Faculty Professional Development and Engagement, and the Columbia Center for Teaching and Learning CUIMC office, CEDC is an evidence-based, faculty-driven, professional development series for clinician-educators at VP&S. Participants complete five required workshops and three electives.
