Alexander, Schnall join Sigma’s Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame

Two Columbia Nursing faculty members will be inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Society of Nursing’s Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame this month. 

Helen Young Professor Gregory L. Alexander, PhD, and Mary Dickey Lindsay Professor of Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Rebecca Schnall, PhD, are among 20 nurse researchers who will receive the prestigious honor at Sigma’s International Nursing Research Congress. 

The award recognizes nurse researchers who have achieved significant and sustained national or international recognition and whose research has improved the profession of nursing and the people it serves, according to Sigma. View the full list of the inductees for 2021.
