Dr. Judy Honig named Dorothy M. Rogers Professor of Clinical Nursing

Judy Honig, DNP, EdD, CPNP, associate dean, Student Affairs,  was named the Dorothy M. Rogers Professor of Clinical Nursing. 

Dr. Honig joined Columbia University School of Nursing in 1988 and has served as Associate Dean of Student Affairs since 2000.  She has contributed to advanced practice nursing education for 30 years, playing an active role in transforming clinical nursing education and in shaping the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at a national and international level.

She has been a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for three decades and has a faculty practice in an urban pediatric primary care. In addition to her administrative and practice responsibilities, Dr. Honig conducts research related the integration of mental health and primary care for minority children.
