Dr. Pat Stone Appointed to Centennial Chair

Pat Stone, PhD has been appointed to the Centennial Chair in Health Policy effective October 1. Dr. Stone joined the School of Nursing in 2001 as an Assistant Professor, was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in 2007 and to Professor in 2009. Dr. Stone's research has been instrumental in establishing the link between nurse staffing, the practice environment and hospital acquired infections, and increased healthcare costs.
