Dean Frazier's Message Honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2025
This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I’m reflecting on what I’ve learned about wellness and thriving. Everyone, regardless of gender, age, or whether you’ve faced a diagnosis of cancer or another chronic illness, can benefit from taking steps, even small steps, toward a healthy lifestyle.
Finding any kind of physical activity you enjoy—for me, it’s walking—can be a powerful way to manage stress and support a healthy weight. Just as important are eating a nutritious, well-balanced diet, keeping up to date with health screenings, and staying socially connected; relationships and support networks are essential to our overall well-being.
In this special issue of Pulse, you’ll find new and recent interviews in which I share more guidance and practical tips on breast cancer screening, survivorship, and wellness. I hope these insights will inform and inspire you.
