Melissa Beauchemin, PhD’19, was appointed assistant director for community outreach and engagement for the Columbia University Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center on March 2, 2026.
Leon Chen has served on the Society of Critical Care Medicine’s Guideline for Adult ICU Triage Task Force for the past two years, examining evidence and creating triage guidelines for all adult ICUs in the U.S. during critical resource shortages. The guideline was published in March 2026 in Critical Care Medicine.
Ashley Graham-Perel was a panelist discussing “The Future of Nursing: AI, Technology, and Innovation in Healthcare,” hosted by the Helene Fuld College of Nursing on February 17, 2026, in New York City. She also served as nursing historian panelist at a screening of the film “Power to Heal” at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing on February 11, 2026, in Philadelphia.
