Melanie Mariano, DNP, MPH, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC). She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Master of Public Health (MPH) at the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing and Bloomberg School of Public Health, respectively. She is board-certified in Advanced Diabetes Management (BC-ADM) and a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES).
Melanie is a primary care provider at the ColumbiaDoctors Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Group. As a doctorally prepared family nurse practitioner, she provides comprehensive care to adult patients, emphasizing health promotion, disease prevention, and the management of chronic conditions.
