Grants Management Office
The Grants Management Office (GMO) at Columbia University School of Nursing provides support to faculty, postdocs, and graduate students to reduce the administrative burden related to the management of federal and non-federal sponsored projects throughout the lifecycle of a grant. Resources available within the GMO include a team of five full-time professional staff, including a director and four grants managers. The GMO team works closely with faculty, postdocs, and graduate students on all aspects of the grant process, from pre-award activities, such as budget preparation and award set-up, to post-award activities, such as award and budget management and grant closeout. The GMO provides monitoring, oversight, and guidance while ensuring compliance with institutional and sponsor policies and procedures. The office functions to support the research initiatives of Columbia Nursing in an efficient, collaborative, and high-quality manner.
