The Future of Nursing Home Quality
On April 13, 2022, the Center for Health Policy, the Center for Improving Palliative Care in Vulnerable Adults with Multiple Chronic Conditions, and the Alumni Association hosted an expert panel discussion titled “Policy Dialogue for the Future of Nursing Home Quality.” The expert panel discussed the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, & Medicine’s recently released report, “The Quality of Care in Nursing Homes,” which examines how our nation delivers, regulates, finances and measures quality of nursing home care, including the long-standing challenges brought to light by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Future of Nursing 2020-2030 Report
Columbia Nursing and New-York Presbyterian hosted a panel discussion “The Future of Nursing 2020-2030 Report: Charting a Path to Achieving Health Equity” on June 2, 2021. The expert panel discussed the goals of the National Academy of Medicine’s recently released study, which charts a course for the next decade of the nursing profession. View the event recording.
