Academic Affairs Handbook

The Columbia Nursing Academic Affairs Handbook provides students with essential information about academic programs, policies, and expectations at Columbia Nursing.

Purpose of the Handbook

The Academic Affairs Handbook is intended to:

  • Provide guidance for new and continuing students
  • Describe Columbia Nursing academic standards, policies, and procedures
  • Inform students of their rights and responsibilities

This handbook is designed to supplement Essential Policies for the Columbia University Community, the Columbia Nursing website, and other electronic and printed materials issued by the School of Nursing, the University, faculty, and administrative offices.

Students are expected to familiarize themselves with the information, policies and procedures contained in the handbook, the Columbia Nursing website, and the University website.

2026-2027 Academic Affairs Handbook 

 

The School reserves the right to change policies and procedures without notice. This handbook should not be regarded as a contract between the University, the School and/or any student or other person.
